Introduction to the Academical Reader from August 1830

This is an original hard cover Academical Reader from August 1830. A true collector item for old rare books.  Writing of a name and price on front page, see picture.  Inscribed on last page with name and date of owner from 1868.  It is very warn, the binding is cut in half but still together by one stitching left.  The pages have spots and are discolored. The book is 186 years old.  All pages are still present.  4 3/8 by 7 1/2 in size with 168 pages that include the contents index.
