1950's Mother of Pearl Thimble Holder

This Mother of Pearl small clipped holder was used to hold thimbles or pills.  No cracks or chips and does open and close.  2 inches wide and an inch wide on each side when open.  Outlined in brass with clip.  This is a rare piece to find  and in great condition.
